La Marine pakistanaise affirme avoir dépisté un sous-marin indien qui tentait de pénétrer dans les eaux territoriales du pays, relate mardi le quotidien pakistanais Dawn.
«La marine de guerre pakistanaise continuera de protéger la frontière maritime de son pays et est capable de réagir à n'importe quelle agression», lit-on dans une déclaration diffusée par le journal.

Le 26 février, l'armée de l'air indienne a frappé un camp de ce groupe sur le territoire pakistanais. Le lendemain, Islamabad a déclaré que ses avions ont attaqué, en réponse, des sites militaires dans le Jammu-et-Cachemire. Les deux pays affirment avoir abattu des avions de l'ennemi lors d'un combat aérien massif, le premier depuis la troisième guerre indo-pakistanaise de 1971.
