Benny est un labrador adorable devenu le premier chien-patineur au monde.
Sa propriétaire, Cheryl Del Sangro, l'a sauvé à l'âge de quelques mois d'un refuge pour animaux à Salt Lake City qui voulait l'euthanasier. La femme, ancien entraîneur de patinage, a emmené une fois Benny à la patinoire, et… l'histoire du premier chien-patineur a commencé.
Elle a remarqué que le chien était très agile sur la glace et a commandé chez un cordonnier local des patins minuscules destinés à son chien. Après un an, Benny avait appris à glisser sur la glace et même faire des figures, écrit The Daily Mail.

«Il était très à l'aise et a immédiatement commencé à patiner. J'ai corrigé ses positions de pieds à quelques reprises et il était parti tout seul», explique la femme. «Nous avons été complètement stupéfaits.»
